ARKRAY, Inc. (herein ARKRAY) is due to release the SPOTCHEM i-Pack Oxystress Test: a kit for the simple measurement of oxidative stress within the body; and a reagent for research use.
Oxidative stress occurs when oxidative properties from active enzymes within the body and anti-oxidative system balance are abnormal. The resulting oxidative state causes damage to the body. In recent years, the effect on increased oxidative stress on aging and lifesyle-related diseases and other ailments has been theorized. This marker is expected to be very useful in preventative medicine and other medical research.
SPOTCHEM i-Pack Oxystress Test is used with the immunological reaction analyzer , the SPOTCHEM IM SI-3511 (sold by ARKRAY) and blood (serum or plasma) as a sample type. It automatically measures OS (Oxidative Stress) and AP (Antioxidant Power) with no hassle, offering an analysis of the degree of oxidative stress within the body.
ARKRAY continues to use its core technologies to increase its product lineup and take on new challenges in the healthcare and anti-aging fields.

ARKRAY first released the rapid test SPOTCHEM series back in 1988 for POC use at clinics. The SPOTCHEM IM SI-3511 is an immunology reaction analyzer which uses dedicated reagents in the form of the SPOTCHEM i-Pack series for quick and easy test results. SPOTCHEM i-Pack Oxystress Test is the 8th reagent in the series following releases for infectious disease, kidney function and diabetes related reagents.
